Severely injured veterans will have an easier time sleeping at night thanks to donations of Easy Rest Adjustable Beds.

BALTIMORE, March 3, 2012 – A decade of fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq has left thousands of American soldiers with injuries and wounds that make it difficult to rest comfortably in bed and achieve a quality night’s sleep. A new program introduced by Easy Rest Adjustable Sleep Systems aims to help wounded veterans rest easier by donating adjustable beds to injured service members through its new Beds For Our Troops program.

“Giving back to the community is a top priority for our company,” stated Jeffrey Mowrey, Easy Rest’s chief operating officer. “We can think of no group more deserving of the rest and sleep benefits of our bed than our wounded veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country.”

Easy Rest is working with Homes For Our Troops to identify interested service men and women for the program. Homes For Our Troops is a nationally recognized charity that builds specially adapted homes at no cost to the veteran.

Service Members who receive an Easy Rest Adjustable Bed through the Beds For Our Troops program will be able to choose a twin, full or queen size bed free of charge. The company plans on donating a minimum of one bed a month as part of the program.
